The adhesive reinforcement is used to ensure the structural integrity of the automobiles, lowering the vehicle's weight. It is used between panels and in doors, hoods and side panels.
When subject to heat, the adhesive reinforcement polymerizes, adhering to the metal and substantially strengthening it. It is used to reduce panel vibration in the floor, roof and other areas.
The preformed reinforcing products come in a range of formats and thickness, and have the considerable advantage of low cost installation at the assembly or bodywork plant in which they are applied.

Flange Adhesives are used to ensure the structural integrity of automobiles. They are used between panels and in doors, hoods and side panels
When subject to heat, the Flange adhesives polymerize, adhering to the metal and providing it with considerable reinforcing and adhesive power. They are used instead of spot welds.
Pumpable products come in several viscosity for different applications, and have excellent adhesion on oil or oil free galvanized sheets and phosphatized sheets, may be cured by induction, and are highly resistant to baths and highly compatible with e-coat.
Flange Adhesives may be applied manually or automatically by robotic system. As they are available with differing features, they can be expandable or otherwise.

Spot-weld Adhesive

The spot-weld vinicol line is used to seal two weldable sheets, where the product will guarantee the seal and provide excellent adhesion, possessing excellent flexibility. It comes in several viscosities for automatic or manual application and can be applied at room temperature.
The Spot Weld Adhesive can be expanded by between 0 to 150% filling the spaces between the sheets preventing penetration by external agents (water, dust, etc.) and protecting against corrosion.
The Spot Weld Adhesive is highly compatible with electrocoat systems and can be painted without presenting stains or incompatibility with the paint finishing system.
The most commonly applied locations are: floor, reinforcement panel, windows, mudguard fittings (when welded), among others.
The product used for spot welding is self extinguishing, has a high solid content, is solvent free, and highly stable under storage.

The Stone Impact Anti-noise Plastisol is applied as a protective, anti corrosive and anti noise coating on the areas of the vehicle which are usually exposed to humidity and stone impact.
The anti-noise protection is applied to the external part of the vehicle due to its high resistance to impact, protecting the floor, wheelwell, scuff plates, air tank, petrol tank etc.
The product comes in a number of viscosities, allowing for easy application, which can be performed either robotically (automatic) or manually. It is highly compatible with primer and enamel painting systems.
The anti noise plastisol has rheological properties and can be applied on vertical and horizontal surfaces and inverted panels, without any running occurring.

PLASTISOL

Expandable Stone Impact Anti-noise Plastisol

The Expandable Stone Impact Anti-noise Plastisol has the same properties as the Stone Impact Anti-noise except for the fact it is expanded after being cured. It is applied as a protective, anti corrosive and anti noise coating on the areas of the vehicle which are usually exposed to humidity and stone impact.

The material can be applied in all places containing sheets junctions, around shock absorber towers, rain gutters, door finishing, the hood, trunk lids etc.
The product comes in a number of viscosities, allowing for easy application, which can be performed either robotically (automatic) or manually. It is highly compatible with primer and enamel painting systems.
The threadable sealing plastisol has rheological properties and can be applied on vertical and horizontal surfaces and inverted panels, without any running occurring.
In order for the plastisol to achieve its physical-chemical properties, it must be activated at a temperature of at least 140ºC.

Preformed threadable sealing mastic

It is a thermally cured product used to seal sheets, protecting the automotive body from noise, dust penetration and corrosion brought about by water infiltration.
The material can be applied in all places containing sheets junctions, around shock absorber towers, rain gutters, door finishing, the hood, trunk lids etc.
In order for the Preformed threadable Sealing Mastic to achieve its physical-chemical properties, it must be activated at a temperature of at least 170ºC. It can be expanded by between 0 to 200%.

Moldable Mastic

The Moldable Mastic is used to seal areas of the vehicle which contain wide gaps between sheets and to repair paintwork in areas difficult to reach using threadable plastisol. It is a thermally cured product used to seal sheets, protecting the automotive body from noise, dust penetration and corrosion brought about by water infiltration.
Moldable Mastic is different to other mastics as it contains little liquid, and is therefore more consistent, and can be molded by hand and applied as small balls or strips in cavities too big to be filled with fluid material.
The material can be applied in all places containing sheets junctions, around shock absorber towers, rain gutters, door finishing, the hood, trunk lids etc.
In order for the Moldable Mastic to achieve its physical-chemical properties, it must be activated at a temperature of at least 170ºC.

Air Drying, Water-Based Counting Repair Mastic

Water-based, stone impact paint

The product can be applied on the floor, door side, hood and all the other large areas which require noise dampening.
The Pumpable Sound Absorbing product simplifies logistical administration by replacing a number of preformed items by a single item.

Preformed cavity filler

In the technical sector, the term "Cavities" means the parts of the automotive bodywork which are confined between sheets and are geometrically irregular, which limits variable amplitude volumes. The vehicle has lots of cavities.
Due to the very fact they are hollow, they propagate sound and amplify the outside noise and vibrations when the vehicle is in motion. Furthermore, the cavities also allow penetration by humidity, which is why they are considered high corrosion risk areas.
The Preformed Cavity Protection is a thermoplastic, single component material, which is expanded at hot temperatures, and was created to ensure sound insulation and maximum anti-corrosion protection in vehicle cavities.
Following submission to a minimum temperature of 160ºC, the product forms a spongy structure of closed cells, and can expand by 0 to 1000%. It is applied manually, and attached mechanically, allowing the e-coat to be drained.

Pumpable (gap expanseal)

Pellicle

Main Features

The Pellicle is a water-based material, developed to replace the application of protective waxes on solvent-based paintwork, meaning it does not release any harmful waste by-products into the environment. It can also replace polyethylene sheets, used in the productive process to prevent the vehicle paintwork from being damaged.
The pellicle protects the topcoat, and is highly resistant to weathering and physical agents. It can be applied in spray form and cured at room temperature. It is easily removed.
Using this material also help optimize inventories, by reducing the number of components per vehicle (in replacement of the paper currently used); a single item to be administrated by the purchasing, supplies, production and engineering departments. It also enables the number of scrapped items or process waste to be reduced.
